Brigitte Gabriel has been an outspoken critic of Islam for many years. She is the author of Because They Hate and They Must Be Stopped. Born in 1965 in Lebanon she was raised in a Maronite Christain family. Her childhood was shattered by the Lebanese Civil War, in which she was wounded and spent 2 1/2 months in the hospital.
She immigrated to the United States in 1989. She founded American Congress for Truth in 2002 "to give a voice to Americans, Jews and Christians, who have lost their freedom of speech to political correctness".
She is one of the leading voices against Islam, Islamic terror, and Jihad today. She speaks from personal experience, having to live under Shar'ia law and Islamic terror as a child.
