American teacher in Bahrain held for "Insulting Islam".

We all remember that little incident with a teacher, a teddy bear and a name for it. The uproar from that saved the woman's life, had many people naming their cats, dogs and pigs Mohammad (an insult to the animals if ever there was one) and taught nobody a lesson for just recently this happened:

MANAMA: An American woman was referred to the court yesterday by the Public Prosecution after being charged with insulting the Prophet Mohammed.

The woman, who works as a teacher at a private university in Bahrain, was said to have been reported to the university management by a student, who claimed that she had shown them pictures depicting the Prophet Mohammed improperly dressed.

"The teacher was made to apologize to the students but was told to have insulted the girl who had reported her to the management instead," said a Public Prosecution spokesman.

Didn't she understand the terms of her contract? That strange clause that said:

1. Keep your body, head and face covered.
2. Do not practice your own religion.
3. Be respectful to all men.
4. Don't show nude pictures of the Prophet Mohammed.

I guess that last one escaped her mind. I wonder what her sentence will be? 200 lashes? No that is for rape victims. Expulsion from Bahrain? Only if the State Department makes a fuss and the MSM picks up the story. Beheading or hanging? Probably. They take insults the Great Pedophile who has been dead for 1376 years very seriously.

Whatever happens to her, if she is released back to the US I just hope that she finally has learned the lesson well.
