In another, from August 15, 2008, Iranian Assembly of Experts member Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said that when the Mahdi arrived, there would be "[real] globalization" and "Islamic revival will sweep over the entire world." He added, "Not a single house will remain on the face of the earth... unpenetrated by Islam."

As reported by the official Iranian press, Rafsanjani said in his sermon that "Iran is oppressed in the nuclear case; the bullying powers use the issue as an excuse to settle their accounts with the (Islamic) Revolution (of Iran)..."
"Nuclear energy is absolute right of Iranian people. They (the bullying powers) too believe that Iran can master peaceful nuclear technology. The world big powers' tough approach towards Iran, which has by reliance on its power and technology been able to reach a position to have peaceful nuclear industry under conditions of sanctions, is an injustice to both the country and mankind."
He said that while checking the danger of nuclear weapons' application, there should be efforts to let mankind use God-given nuclear resources. The prerequisite for the resolve, he said, is cooperation among all states and the big powers' stopping bullying, hostility, threatening and making human beings psychologically insecure.
He added that today the world has felt the problem of energy scarcity. "The problem has gone to the extent that today, most states have made recourse to use of coal energy."
Elsewhere in his sermon, Ayatollah Rafsanjani touched on the war in Georgia and said that the Georgia case features a danger of encounter of world's two big nuclear powers, i.e. NATO and Russia. "Despite restoration of calm, it (the case) is not yet over. Under such cases, one should act more rationally and prudently," he added.
"Globalization will only be realized when the days of the Mahdi come. The world of arrogance will take its dream of globalization to the grave. But in the days of the Mahdi, [real] globalization will definitely come to pass.

"God sent His Messenger in order to spread the just religion, so that His religion [Islam] would overcome all other religions.

"By 'overcome,' I am not referring to the superiority of the logic of Islam, because in this sense, it is already superior.

All the Israeli people constitute the militia of the Israeli government, because when a war breaks out, they all have their duty to help their government. "The person who made this statement should retract it quickly, and should ask the great Iranian nation to forgive him for taking such an inappropriate position – and not say that he would repeat it 1,000 times. Even if you repeat something wrong 1,000 times, it will be wrong 1,000 times over. What kind of statement is this? The policy of the Islamic regime is clear, and its principles are clear. Nobody from this courageous [Iranian] nation will allow anyone who holds an official position to make a statement that runs counter to the principles of the foreign policy, delineated by Imam [Khomeini] and the leader [Khamenei].

"During the 33-day war [in Lebanon], the Israelis told their people that if they experience psychological problems because of Hizbullah's rockets, they could visit certain doctors. People did go to see these doctors, but they found that the doctors were much worse off psychologically. Now you want to confront Iran? Rest assured that if you are stupid and take action [against Iran], the response of Iran will drive you utterly insane."

Each week the Mullahs of Iran promise their people that the Mahdi will come soon. Some have even stated that he has already been born, in Gaza of all places. But many in the West have no real idea who the Mahdi is. Here is a short biography of the Mahdi.
The term "MAHDI" is a title meaning "The Guided one". Mahdi is a normal man who is going to follow the true Islam. His name will be Muhammad and his father name will be 'Abdullah. He is a descendant from Ali and Fatima (daughter of the prophet Muhammad) so he will be descendant from al-Hasan or al-Husain. Mahdi will be very just and his capital will be Damascus. Allah told us that Jews will master the world two times and Mahdi will appear between those two periods and will rule through the last one. Mahdi is NOT a prophet but he is the final Rightly Guided Khalifa. Mahdi will lead Muslims to a great victory against the Christian Romans (i.e. All the white Europeans including the Americans). This great war is called al-Malhamah al-Kubrah or Armageddon. It will end up with a great victory to Muslims against Romans after six years. Muslims will take over their capital Rome. In the seventh year, the Anticrist will apear and a greater war will start between Jews and Muslims for 40 days and will end when Jesus will come and Muslims will kill all Jews. All people will convert into Islam. Peace will pervade the whole world.In other words, the Mahdi is the Islamic version of the Messiah. Only in their version, the Mahdi will lead the world in a holy war, a Jihad against the Jews and Christians. The Muslims will win this war with the Mahdi's and Jesus' help. Then everyone will become Muslim and peace will be upon the world. And illiteracy, poverty, ignorance, disease, and somehow they will turn the clock back and it will be the 7th Century again.
Funny how Muslim beliefs differ from Christian beliefs. The Mahdi isn't very powerful it seems. For he needs the help of Jesus to defeat the Jews. I would love to see where in the New Testament it says that Jesus will destroy all the Jews.
Of course the Palestinians are to be the chosen people for this event. As you can see here in this video, they proclaim that the Mahdi has already been born in 2004 and is living in Gaza (a good reason to bomb Gaza).

"'The Prophet Muhammad's hadith, may Allah's prayer and blessing for peace be upon Him, states that at the time he is killed [the Mahdi] will be between 18 and 20 years old - these are the tidings. Of course, prior to the arrival of the anti-Christ, Rome, Italy, and Constantinople will be conquered - for the Prophet said... that these [places] would be conquered only by the righteous Mahdi, peace be upon him, who is from Palestine - as has been foretold by Imams and great scholars Mu'ath bin Jabal, Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas, and 'Abd Allah bin Mas'oud.'
"At this point, the TV host asked [the comrade]: 'Is the child being watched over?' And he replied: 'Yes, today he has become famous, and he is being watched over. The comrades are very concerned about his [well-being], Allah be thanked. What I would like to convey to the people and to the scholars is that the days [in which we live] are [the days] of victories, Allah be thanked, that the promised Mahdi has been sent to us, Allah be thanked, and that Palestine's residents will become the people of the banner - they are the bearers of this religion, and the ones who will spread it.'
"With this utterance, quoted [here] verbatim, His Eminence Sheikh 'Issa Badwan ended [the interview] with Al-Aqsa TV, and whoever wishes to hear or see [it] for himself must follow the link below, to ascertain that I am not twisting [facts] or maligning either the Al-Aqsa satellite channel or Sheikh 'Issa Badwan. "You Should Not Find It Difficult To Bear the Suffering for [Another] 16 Years, Especially Since This Period [of Waiting for the Mahdi to Appear] Will Be Followed By Great Jubilation and Incredible Victories"
"Sheikh 'Issa Badwan vouched for the veracity of this story, [which was conveyed to him] by a well-known, prominent, and trustworthy figure. The event [described in it] occurred four years ago, and the Palestinian Mahdi, who is currently among us (that is, for whose arrival we are no longer waiting), is four years old.
"The anti-Christ will kill him when he is between 18 and 20 years old, as is stated in the hadith quoted by Sheikh 'Issa Badwan. This means that either 14 (until 2022) or 16 (until 2024) years are left until he will face the anti-Christ.
"Accordingly, insofar as the Palestinians, the Arabs, and the Muslims have suffered greatly during the 60 years since the Palestinian Nakba, or during the 532 years from the time of the liberation of Granada from the Arab occupiers... you should not find it difficult to bear the suffering for [another] 16 years, especially since this period will be followed by great jubilation and incredible victories marking the conquest of Rome, Italy and Constantinople.
"Sheikh 'Issa, there are several points that require clarification. Firstly, how will Constantinople be conquered? You said that the appearance of the long-awaited Mahdi (and as you have declared, he did indeed appear four years ago) will be preceded by 'the conquest of Rome, Italy, and Constantinople.' The city of Constantinople was conquered in 1453 CE by the [Muslim] Ottoman Empire, whereupon its name was changed to Istanbul, and its greatest church (Aya Sophia) became a mosque. How will Constantinople be actually conquered, if for 555 years it has [already] been under the [Muslim] Turkish rule?"

Accordingly this Messiah of these is around and they just have to wait 16 years before he does his thing. Or it is just a big fairy tale that they are telling the people to give them false hope in a Messiah that will never come.
It is the goal of Islam to conquer the world. That was stated by Mohammad himself. But in the 1400 years since Mohammad founded this cult, all Islam has brought to the world is poverty, injustice, war and disease. The Mahdi is just another example of how a group of people will control their masses of followers by keeping them ignorant and hoping for supernatural beings to save lead them to victory.

The Mahdi will not recognize Israeli nationality -- no kidding. They have high hopes for their Mahdi, hope they are not too disappointed when plans fall through, heh.
