Holocaust Remembrance Day

Warning: The pictures today will disturb you!

Today Israelis and Jews through out the world will remember those who died by the hands of the Nazis. At 10:00 am in Israel the sirens will sound and every Israeli will stop what they are doing, stand at attention. Cars, buses, trains stop. Television and radio stops. And the only sound heard is the siren. Israelis are trained from birth that on this day, you stop what ever you are doing, stand at attention and remember those who died. It is taught to them like Americans are taught to place their hands over their hearts when reciting the pledge.

On this Yom HaShoah, instead of words (for there are no words that could adequately tell the story), I give you the following pictures. They are graphic and disturbing. But the story they tell is disturbing.

NEVER AGAIN!

2nd near-miss as Kassam falls by school

At least 8 rockets hit w. Negev since early morning; none wounded and no damage reported.

Residents of Sderot and the rest of the Gaza-periphery awoke to yet another day of Kassam rockets, with eight Kassam strikes being reported since early Wednesday morning.

All of the rockets hit open areas in the western Negev, save for one, which landed near a school in Sderot.

Thank God no one was injured or killed, but it was the second time that a Kassam fell near a school. What will happen if it actually hit the school while it was in session? How many children would be killed? Injured?

What will it take for the Israelis to finally have enough and go on an all out offensive against Gaza? And what will it take before the Western media finally wakes up to the fact that Hamas has no intention of ever stopping these attacks? A child dying? 2? 10? 20? 100?

As long as the rockets attack Israel, I will keep posting these reports. And when the Israelis finally lose their patience, I will report that too.

Moral Decay

John and Mary Smith (all the names have been changed to protect the innocent) must be very proud. Their daughter, Jenny just made a porno movie. Actually she was featured in Girls Gone Wild. But it is the same.

John and Mary saved for 18 years to be able to send their little girl to college. They did without, scrimped and saved. They were so proud. Their daughter did her part too, she studied hard. A good college would make her future.

John and Mary's neighbors laugh at them. The men ogle at the videos of their daughter, and the women call her a whore behind their backs. Well not. The men do watch the videos and the women keep silent, praying that their daughters will not do what Jenny Smith did.

And John and Mary Smith still pay for their daughter's college education.

What is the problem with that picture? Can anyone see?

The problem is that we don't hold people responsible for their actions. We say that it isn't your fault. It is the fault of the pornographer, the fault of the authorities for not stopping him, you have ADD or some other alphabet soup illness. But it is never your fault. There must be a reason, an excuse.

John and Mary Smith like many other parents forget many things about being parents. That they must set the moral example for their children. That they are the parent and they hold the purse strings. That a college education is a privilege, not a right.

What would happen if little Jenny's parents were to say to her: "We don't accept what you did. You are an adult and if you want to be in porno movies, we can't stop you. But we don't have to pay for it. As of this day, we will not pay for your college education."

Little Jenny would cry and scream, carry on like a child. And then most parents would give in. But in a moral world, the parents would hold fast.

Parents save for years to put their child through college. Most people save at least $20,000, some even more. And the child believes that the world (and their parents) owes them a living. They never stop asking for more.

A parents legal responsibility for their child ends when the child turns 18. At that point the child is now an adult. A parent can choose to pay for their continued education, but they can and should pull the funds when the child takes the education and/or funds for granted.

It's Only Been a Week

A Confession

A week ago I started Monkey in the Middle. But the idea for this blog has been running around my head for a year now.

What was I thinking? I have no HTML skills, no knowledge of how to download or upload things unto the web. I only have a voice and the knowledge of years of experience.

I thought on this day, I would tell you how I came to this place.

2 years ago I was, now don't faint, a registered Democrat. To me it was the party of Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy and Johnson. It was the party of the working man and woman. I was a proud Democrat, but didn't always follow the party line. I voted my conscience. Not just once, but every time. I voted for McGovern instead of Nixon, Ford instead of Carter, Reagan instead of Carter, Reagan instead of Mondale, but voted for Mondale over George Bush, Clinton over Bush then Dole.

I have never been a supporter of G.W. Bush. I didn't think he was the best man for the job. I'm sure that he is a nice enough fellow, but was not the right man for the job. I still believe that.

When we liberated Iraq, he should have listened to his military and sent enough troops to do the job right. When we started to nation build he should have sent the best people for the job, not the one's who agreed with him politically. If he had done this, Iraq would not be in the condition it is today, this is what it would have looked like back in 2003 not today. But we cannot turn back the clock, and have to look and act toward the future.

But I digress. 2 years ago the Democrats took control over the Congress. The previous Congress was a do nothing, say nothing, help nobody Congress. I had hope that the Democrats would be better. But Nancy Pelosi is no Tip O'Neil. The left-wing of the party had taken hold of the party and the Congress. Actions by the leftists groups such as: Code Pink (Code Pinko to me) have angered not only myself, but even my ultra-left, Obama voting son-in-law to be. And now that anti-Semite Carter met with Hamas and stating on CNN that he had been in contact with Hamas since 1996. And that he was upset that the Israelis wouldn't give in to Hamas' demands. What he is really upset with is that he couldn't go to Gaza and lob a few rockets into Israel himself.

I left the Democratic Party 2 years ago and became an Independent voter. Actually that is not true. I didn't leave the Democratic Party, they left me. They left me and the ideals that their party was founded on a long time ago. It has taken me a long time to break with them.

And you know something. It feels good!

Open One's Mouth, Insert Foot!

Hamas is at it again. They are trying to force Israel into accepting a truce with them. This truce wouldn't stop the rockets into Israel, return Gilad Schalit, but would open the borders between Gaza and Israel.

They must really be hurting in Gaza. All those starving children and bodies of the sick must be piling up. Almost every day another Hamas leader and his family is killed, another rocket factory is blown up. The Palestinians cry to the world: "We are being oppressed, under occupation, and have no fuel, no food. Help us!" But they have cried this mantra once too often. The world doesn't see starving children, they don't see the sick dying in great numbers. They do see a group that is bent on both self-destruction and the destruction of their neighbor.

So now Hamas as decided in a new tactic. This time intimidation. They now cry:
"We have 200,000 suicide bombers!" And the Israelis are suppose to shake in fear? Not now, not today. They can have 20, 200, 200,000 or 2,000,000 suicide bombers, it would make no difference. Israel will not open its border with Gaza.

Hamas wants open borders without any supervision. It was Hamas that removed the EU monitors. They say they will allow them back, but only if they live in Egypt or Gaza. They would not be allow to live in Israel. The EU and Israel has said no. The EU doesn't believe their monitors would be safe in Gaza or Egypt.

So Hamas goes for the tactic of having the Arab League monitor the border crossings. Israel has said no to that. That would be the fox guarding the chicken coop.

There should be no truce with Hamas unless 2 things are done:

  1. Total cease-fire of all rockets into Israel.
  2. The return of Gilad Schalit

Until this happens, the border should be kept sealed, and to further drive home the point, all electricity should be cut off immediately.

Somebody's Having a Temper Tantrum!

Lebanon: 12 IAF Jets Fly Over Beirut
by Associated Press

IAF warplanes violated Lebanese airspace on Monday, flying on reconnaissance missions over Beirut and elsewhere in the country, the Lebanese army said.
The army said in a statement that "12 enemy Israeli warplanes" violated Lebanese airspace before noon, four flew over the Mediterranean off the coastal city of Byblos in the north and headed toward the eastern province of Hermel.

Eight other Israeli warplanes flew over the southern town of Rmeish, then headed north to Beirut, the Chouf mountains, southeast of the capital, and Hermel before heading back to the "occupied territories," the statement said. It added that the Israeli over-flights lasted about an hour.

Full Story

So what is Lebanon going to do now? Launch fighters in response? Not this or any time. As long as Hezbollah is in Lebanon and rearming, Israel will launch its planes and keep an eye on them. As long as that Tower of Babel known as the UN is looking the other way while Hezbollah rearms, Israel will launch its planes and keep watch.

During the Second Lebanese War Israel launched scores of sorties and had full control of the air much to Lebanon's and Hezbollah's chagrin. They had their proxies in Europe and the United States protest the bombing of civilians, screaming for a cease-fire. The result was UN Resolution 1701. It called for a full cease-fire by Israel and Hezbollah (not Lebanon mind you, but treated the terrorist organization as a nation), and the disarming of Hezbollah.

What was the result? Israel ceased its attack. Hezbollah is rearming. The UN is looking the other way, hoping that Hezbollah can finally finish the job that Hitler started. And Lebanon is crying that Israel has violated the cease-fire.

A Bit of Humor

A spaceship hovers over the UN building in NY City and through out the world this message is heard in every language:

"We wish to speak to the Secretary-General of the United Nations. A craft will be sent down for him."

The Secretary-General waited upon the roof of the UN for the craft. When it arrives a portal opens and he enters. Within a few minutes the craft flies back to its mother ship.

For days and days the world waits for any news. The media has pundits on predicting what these aliens would want. They argue over what they look like, their customs, etc... Comedians have a field day with the alien jokes. And yet, there still is no news from the ship.

Finally, after 6 days, the craft returns to Earth. A visibly shaken Secretary-General stumbles out of the craft and over to a bank of microphones and cameras. He takes a deep breath and then says:

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the world. We have a major problem. Our visitors from above are 7' tall, Jewish, and pissed!"

An American Hero

Thousands honor Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin

Military personnel and supporters from across the country joined an Ohio family Sunday at a memorial service for an Army reservist whose remains were found in Iraq last month, nearly four years after his capture.

Our condolences go out to his family and his unit.

These people know no law. The Geneva Conventions of War are very specific on the treatment of POW's.

Article 3 of the Conventions:

To this end the following acts are and shall remain prohibited at any time and in any place whatsoever with respect to the above-mentioned persons:

(a) Violence to life and person, in particular murder of all kinds, mutilation, cruel treatment and torture;

(b) Taking of hostages;

(c) Outrages upon personal dignity, in particular, humiliating and degrading treatment;

(d) The passing of sentences and the carrying out of executions without previous judgment pronounced by a regularly constituted court affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples.

And like other barbarians before them, they ignore it. They torture, kidnap, degrade, and kill the POW's. They hold them for random. American and coalition forces know that to be captured by Jihadists, is to be tortured and killed.

His parents Keith and Carolyn Maupin founded the Yellow Ribbon Support Center. Which sends support packages to our troops. They vow to continue this work.

News From Israel

Commander of legendary ship, Exodus dies

Yossi Harel, commander of the illegal Jewish immigrant ship Exodus, immortalized in the Leon Uris novel and Otto Preminger movie, died Saturday at the age of 90.

His daughter Sharon said Harel suffered cardiac arrest at his Tel Aviv home.

The ill-starred voyage of the Exodus, which sought to bring thousands of European refugees to Palestine after World War II, became a potent symbol of the Jewish struggle for statehood.

More than 4,500 Holocaust survivors packed the ship in 1947 when it tried to run the British blockade of Palestine, meant to severely limit the immigration of Jews. The British Navy seized the vessel off Palestine's shores in July 1947, and after a battle on board that left three people dead, turned the ship and its passengers back to Europe.

My condolences go out to his family. This was a quiet, modest man who did what he could to help establish the modern State of Israel. He will be buried tomorrow at Kibbutz Sdot Yam. If you wish to remember him, please donate for a tree at the Jewish National Fund. They cost only $18.

Hamas disrupts fuel supply to Gaza

Hamas militiamen in the Gaza Strip on Sunday attacked fuel trucks headed toward the Nahal Oz border crossing, forcing them to turn back, sources in the Palestinian Petroleum Authority said.

The fuel was supposed to go to the UN Relief and Works Agency [UNRWA] and hospitals in the Gaza Strip, the sources said.

"Dozens of Hamas militiamen hurled stones and opened fire at the trucks," the sources added. "The trucks were on their way to receive fuel supplied by Israel. The drivers were forced to turn back. Some of them had their windshields smashed."

Full Story

How strange that Hamas and the UN scream that there is no fuel in Gaza and then disrupts the fuel supply. This shortage is Hamas made so that they can scream to the world: "We are victims of Israeli oppression!"

Eyewitnesses in Gaza City said that at least on four occasions over the past few weeks, Hamas militiamen confiscated trucks loaded with fuel shortly as they were on their way from Nahal Oz to the city.

They added that the fuel supplies were taken to Hamas-controlled security installations throughout the city. "Hamas is taking the fuel for it the vehicles of is leaders and security forces," the eyewitnesses said. "Because of Hamas's actions, some hospitals have been forced to stop the work of ambulances and generators."

There is plenty of fuel in Gaza. Just that the gangsters called Hamas have stolen it all. Let Hamas provide the fuel for Gaza then, and Israel should cut the supply immediately!

2 Kassams hit Sderot; none wounded

Two Kassams hit Sderot on Sunday. No one was wounded. One rocket exploded in the city, setting a house on fire, and the second hit an open field outside the town. Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigade claimed responsibility for the attacks. Also on Sunday, a Kassam launched from Northern Gaza hit a kibbutz in the Negev. None were wounded and no damage was caused. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Salah al-Din Brigade of the Popular Resistance Committees.

Earlier the same day, Palestinian terrorists fired a rocket towards Ashkelon, Israel Radio reported. The rocket, likely a Grad type Katyusha, exploded before landing but caused serious damage to a garage in the city's industrial zone. No one was hurt in the attack.

Wake Up America Initiative

Truth Seekers. A call for action: Support Sue Myrick's (R. NC): Wake Up America
(Washington, D.C.) – Today, Rep. Sue Myrick (NC-9) released her “Wake Up America” agenda. Rep. Myrick’s goal in releasing her agenda is to alert, and educate, Americans to terrorist threats here at home posed by radical Islamic extremists. This is her agenda, this is not the agenda of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus.

Wake Up America Initiative:

  1. Investigate all military chaplains approved by Abdurahman Alamoudi, who was imprisoned for funding a terrorist organization.
  2. Investigate all prison chaplains approved by Abdurahman Alamoudi.
  3. Will call for the Government Accounting Office (GAO) to investigate the selection process of Arabic translators in the FBI and DoD.
  4. Will call for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations' (CAIR) 501(c)(3) non-profit status which restricts "lobbying on behalf of a foreign government".
  5. Introduce a bill to make the preaching, publication, or distribution of materials that call for the death of American citizens, attacks on the United States Government or Armed Forces, or the financing of the means and/or operations to accomplish these acts, acts of sedition and/or solicitation of treason.
  6. Will call on the Government Accountability Office to conduct an audit to verify the total sovereign wealth fund investment in the United States.
  7. Will attempt to cancel scholarship student visa program with Saudi Arabia until they reform their textbooks.
  8. Will introduce a bill to restrict R-1/R-2 religious visas for imams who come from countries that do not allow reciprocal visits by non-Muslim clergy.
  9. Will introduce a bill to cancel contracts to train Saudi police and other security forces in the US Counterterrorism tactics until the Saudi's certify the prosecution of al Qaeda financiers, like Yasin al-Kadi, and the detention of repatriated Guantanamo terrorists that keep being released into the general population after being "rehabilitated".
  10. Will introduce or sponsor a bill to block the sale of sensitive military munitions, especially Joint Direct attack Munitions (JDAMs), to Saudi Arabia.

As I have posted earlier, the time for inaction has passed. It is time we show our political might. Contact your local Congressman and Senator.

To find your Congressman

To find your Senator

Rules to remember when writing your Senator and Congressman:

  1. Remember to keep your letters polite. Address the person as sir or madam, not hey Joe.
  2. Be to the point. Stay on topic. Don't ramble on about personal stories unless they are short and help prove your point.
  3. Don't write while you are angry. You will sound like a raving lunatic.
  4. Verify your facts. Don't quote a source or website unless you have checked it out first.
  5. Make a copy of your letter. For your records and don't send the copy over and over again.
  6. Do not send a form letter. Staffers disregard these.
  7. Don't send a letter every day. Staffers will think you are a lunatic and not give your letter any consideration. You will get a letter back from your Representative in time.
  8. Do not threaten. These are looked on negatively and so will your cause be too.
  9. If you call remember you are not talking to your Representative. Unless you are a major contributor, you will get an aide. Be polite and too the point.

We can win the war against the Jihadist. We will defeat them by protests, in the courts, in the media, and in laws. We will show to Washington the power of the American people when we decide to stand up and fight for our way of life.

Now is the time for all good people of conscience to stand and be counted. The time of timidity has ended. Now is the time for all to shout in revolt at those who would destroy that which took centuries to build. Not buildings, but ideas. The idea that all people are created equal. The idea that each person has the right to live in Freedom. The crazy idea that women aren't chattel, they have rights too. This is a war, not just for the hearts and minds of people, but for their very souls.

Why is it that when Muslims protest in the streets of any city, there isn't a counter-protest from our side. When in the streets of London, Paris, Berlin, and New York they scream:

Death to Israel! Death to America!

Our side is silent? Why is it that a thousand screaming Muslims can drive fear into politicians? Where is our voices? Where are our screaming protesters. Why are we remaining silent? In New York City, and many cities in the United States, there is a move to have Halal food placed in all the city's schools. Muslims cry: "Our religion commands it!" Where are the Jewish parents demanding kosher food, the Buddhist parents demanding vegetarian food. They too can cry: "Our religion demands it!" When school boards give into this demand, they establish Islam as the national religion. And yet organizations such as the ACLU applaud and even work to make this so. Why is it that Muslims can demand special considerations at public places? No other group (religious or secular) get these considerations from public facilities.

Muslim Hours at Municpal Swimming Pools in the West

You can swim, but you have to wear Muslim dress
Public pool bars father and son from its 'Muslim-only' swimming session

There is no public outrage at this. No protesters taking to the streets.
What are we so afraid of? To be labeled racists?

Is it racist to want to live in Freedom? Is it racist to say NO to my civil rights being stripped from me in the n ame of Multi-culturalism? When Muslims claim that they are a unique race, we should be crying out NO! They are a religion, not a race. You can change your religion, people do it all the time. At one time I dabbled with Wicca. But you cannot change your race. God know that if I could, I would become Klingon. Islam is a religion not a race!

In 1975, the UN, that bastion of hatred, passed Resolution 3379 equating Zionism with racism. The words of that hideous document I will never forget:

Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,

RECALLING its resolution 1904 (XVIII) of 20 November 1963, proclaiming the United Nations Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, and in particular its affirmation that "any doctrine of racial differentiation or superiority is scientifically false, morally condemnable, socially unjust and dangerous" and its expression of alarm at "the manifestations of racial discrimination still in evidence in some areas in the world, some of which are imposed by certain Governments by means of legislative, administrative or other measures",

RECALLING ALSO that, in its resolution 3151 G (XXVIII) of 14 December 1953, the General Assembly condemned, inter alia, the unholy alliance between South African racism and Zionism,

TAKING NOTE of the Declaration of Mexico on the Equality of Women and Their Contribution to Development and Peace 1975, proclaimed by the World Conference of the Intenrational Women's Year, held at Mexico City from 19 June to 2 July 1975, which promulgated the principle that "international co-operation and peace require the achievement of national liberation and independence, the elimination of colonialism and neo-colonialism, foreign occupation, Zionism, apartheid and racial discrimination in all its forms, as well as the recognition of the dignity of peoples and their right to self-determination",

TAKING NOTE ALSO of resolution 77 (XII) adopted by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of African Unity at its twelfth ordinary session, held at Kampala from 28 July to 1 August 1975, which considered "that the racist regime in occupied Palestine and the racist regime in Zimbabwe and South Africa have a comon imperialist origin, forming a whole and having the same racist structure and being organically linked in their policy aimed at repression of the dignity and integrity of the human being",

TAKING NOTE ALSO of the Political Declaration and Strategy to Strengthen International Peace and Security and to Intensify Solidarity and Mutual Assistance among Non-Aligned Countries, adopted at the Conference of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Non-Aligned Countries held at Lima from 25 to 30 August 1975, which most severely condemned Zionism as a threat to world peace and security and called upon all countries to oppose this racist and imperalist ideology,

DETERMINES that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination.

2400th plenary meeting
10 November 1975

I started to wear a button emblazoned with a blue Star of David and the words: "I am a proud racist!" It was then I joined the fight against Jihad, not knowing the word or the nature of the enemy. I wish I still had that button. I would again wear it proudly. It was a badge of honor for those of us in this war. It made a statement that we would not be quiet, we would not sit and wait for our rights to be destroyed. We took to the streets and protested. We didn't demand that Judaism be proclaimed through out the world as the only religion. We didn't demand that Jewish Law be placed above the national law. WE DID SHOW OUR DEEP SUPPORT FOR ZIONISM AND ISRAEL!

A Call to Arms:

Now is the time for all to protest the Islamicization of our lands. We need to organize. We have to do more than just sit and write on blogs. When the Jihadists protest, we need to counter-protest. When 1000 of them show up, 10,000 of us show up. When a parent demands Halal or special considerations for their child because they are Muslim, we must have parents standing by demanding special considerations for their children because they are Jewish, or Buddhist, or Wiccan, or any faith. When Muslims take these cases to court, we must take our case to court. When Muslims take a person to court for what he or she writes, says or posts, we must take the Muslim to court for what he or she writes, says, or posts. We can drive them crazy this way. They will not be able to force Shar'ia upon us. We will not become Dhimmis, but stay strong to our beliefs and freedoms. And when they erupt into violence, we will counter them with violence. And remind them of history and what could happen:

This was Hiroshima, next time it could be Mecca!

To the Jihadists a historical reminder.

A quote from Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto upon learning that the aircraft carriers were not destroyed at Pearl Harbor:

"All I fear that all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

The battle is now joined. The giant is awakening. His resolve will be fearless.

Join the battle! Be active, NOT proactive!

New York Cops NOT GUILTY in Sean Bell shooting!

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Nicole Paultre Bell bolted from the courtroom as a judge acquitted three New York City detectives of all charges Friday in the shooting death of her fiance.

Justice Arthur Cooperman was announcing the verdict clearing Detectives Michael Oliver and Gescard Isnora of manslaughter, assault and reckless endangerment in the death of Sean Bell.

Detective Marc Cooper was cleared of reckless endangerment.

Bell, 23, died in November 2006 in a 50-bullet barrage hours before he was to be married. Two of his companions were wounded in the gunfire outside a Queens nightclub.

"This case was not about justice," declared Leroy Gadsden, chair of the police/community relations committee of the Jamaica Branch NAACP. "This case was about the police having a right to be above the law. If the law was in effect here, if the judge had followed the law truly, these officers would have been found guilty. ...

"This court, unfortunately, is bankrupt when it comes to justice for people of color."

Mayor Michael Bloomberg
(that bastion of race pandering) issued a statement saying, "A innocent man lost his life, a bride lost her groom, two daughters lost their father, and a mother and a father lost their son. No verdict could ever end the grief that those who knew and loved Sean Bell suffer."

However, he said, the legal system must be respected.

"America is a nation of laws, and though not everyone will agree with the verdicts and opinions issued by the courts, we accept their authority."

Yes, Mayor Bloomberg, we are a nation of laws. The justice system worked in this case. The jury didn't buy the prosecutor's case. They didn't want to send the message that the police are always the criminals and the victims were totally innocent of any wrong doing. NYC police are well trained, they are not vigilantes or thugs. These are the men that ran into the World Trade Center when we were attacked on 9/11. You and Rev. Sharpton forget that. To you and him they are murderers. No, Mr. Mayor. These men, who put their lives on the line to protect the citizens of NY City, are not murderers. They are heroes.

I am reminded of the O.J. Simpson verdict. That miscarriage of justice did not result in rioting. Did not result in a federal investigation. Did result in a civil verdict. Rev. Sharpton and other "black" leaders are calling for protests. Are calling for a federal investigation. Are crying that there is no justice. They are screaming the old cry of the oppressed minority that has been heard since the Rodney King verdicts: "No Justice, No Peace!"

Today justice was served. And she showed herself to be blind to color.

Happy Arbor Day!

On Tuesday I published the following:

Earth Day?

I don't celebrate Earth Day. I don't need a day to celebrate the world. I celebrate Arbor Day. It is the United States' original Earth Day. Arbor Day this year is April 25.

Today is Arbor Day. In celebration of this day I submit the following:

Trees
by Joyce Kilmer

I think that I shall never see,
A poem as lovely as a tree.

A tree who's hungry mouth is prest,

Against the earth's sweet flowing breast.

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray.

A tree that may in summer wear,
A nest of robins in her hair.

Upon whose bosom snow has lain,
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Palestinians are the Indigenous People?

Again and again this Truth Seeker hears this cry. But the Palestinians were here first! They are the indigenous people of the land. To look at recent history one might at first agree with it. But recently genetic studies have shown them not as indigenous as one might have thought.

From Global Politician:

A study by the University of Chicago found that Arab populations, including Palestinians, Jordanians, Syrians, Iraqis, and Bedouin, have at least some sub-Saharan African genes. Non-Arabs from the region, including Turks, Kurds, Armenians, Azeris, Georgians, and Jews did not have any African roots. A possible explanation is the proximity of the Arabian peninsula to the Black African nations. This conclusion is favored by the fact that Yemenite Arabs have 35% Black African genes in their mtDNA (which passes through the mother), while others have less. Yemen, of course, is very close geographically to several Black African nations. Other Arabs, especially those far away from the Arabian peninsula, have as little as 10% African blood in their mtDNA. As such, it is possible that the African gene was merely diluted by the introduction of non-Arab (and non-African) genes to the pool when Arabs began to conquer other Middle East people after the rise of Islam. The "real" Arabs -- those who have Arab ancestors stretching beyond the last 1,400 years - are actually 35% Black in their mtDNA. These Arabs are from the Arabian peninsula.

Only the Christian Arabs have a genetic link to the land.

Palestinians, however, differ from other Arabs in some ways. As the web site for Harper's Magazine reported, one study showed that Jews and Palestinians have common ancestry that is so recent that it is highly likely that at least some of the Palestinian blood actually descends from Jews. [3] Another study by New York University confirmed a remarkable similarity between Jewish and Palestinian genes. "Jews and Arabs are all really children of Abraham," said Dr. Harry Ostrer, director of the Human Genetics Program at New York University School of Medicine, who worked on the study. "And all have preserved their Middle Eastern genetic roots over 4,000 years.

According to several other studies, Palestinians and Jews are genetically closer to each other than either is to the Arabs of Arabia or to Europeans. A study of congenital deafness identified an allele limited to Palestinian and Jews of Ashkenazi origin (those who lived in Europe in recent centuries), suggesting a common origin. Furthermore, Y-chromosome polymorphism is very similar among Palestinians and Sephardic Jews.

There is a significant Christian population among Palestinian Arabs, leading some to claim that at least part of the Palestinian population (the Christians) descended from the original followers of Christ, who were, of course, Jews (they were Jews ethnically, even if they didn't follow Judaism).

These people can claim decent from the original Christians who were once Jews in the land.

They claim a long standing claim to Canaan and how they are the original Canaanites. Again genetic studies show only Arab Christians with any of these genes, but surprisingly also show that Jews from Europe with these genes too.

It has been shown that Jewish men of the Cohen line (Priestly caste) has a deep genetic link to Israel. Jewish Genetics are being studied on the male line, and the female line studies should be out next year.

Forgetting genetics, something now the Palestinians are trying to do. Let us turn to history. History shows that there has always been a Jewish presence in Israel for the last 3500 years.

Historical evidence of this presences in found in the historical writings of the Babylonians, Greeks, Roman, Muslims, Crusaders, Turks and Westerners. Mark Twain mentions the Jews in his travels. The Greeks mention the Jews and their obscene practice of circumcision. The Romans mention them in many places. So looking at historical sources, I give you, the Truth Seeker the following:

  • When Joshua led the people of Israel back to the promise land, he was fulfilling God's commandment to return to the land of their forefathers. God admonished him to kill everything and everyone. There were Jews again in the land.
  • When the Babylonians conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When the Greeks conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When the Romans conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When the Muslims conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When the Crusaders conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When the Muslims re-conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When the Ottoman Turks conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When the British were given the Mandate, there were Jews in Israel.
  • When in 1948, the Jews took back the land stolen from them, there were Jews in Israel.

For 3500 years there has never been a time when there wasn't a Jew in the land of Israel. We have always been there.

In conclusion, the only logical verdict there can be is:

The Jews are the Indigenous People of Israel. The Palestinians are the outsiders, mostly from Yemen and should be returned to their ancestral land.

UN Stops Food Distribution in Gaza

The United Nations on Thursday stopped distributing food to Palestinian refugees in Gaza because its vehicles have run out of fuel following an Israeli blockade, a UN official said.

The official, Adnan Abu Hasna, said 700,000 Palestinians who depend on the UN for basic food packets, won't be getting them. He said the United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA) used the last of its fuel on Thursday. That forced it to stop distribution

There is some fuel stored in Gaza - but a local strike by distributors means it is not reaching the public.

Palestinian distributors have been refusing to pick up about a million liters that Israel pumped earlier this month into the Palestinian side of the border fuel depot, saying the quantity is insufficient.

The majority of Palestinians live on welfare hand outs from the UN. The UN can't give them any more food. The Palestinians are starving. What's wrong with this picture?

Starving Palestinians? No. They don't look like their starving. They look very healthy to me. Especially the 2 girls at the heading of this post.

That 700,000 get welfare is disturbing to this truth seeker. It shows the lack of leadership among the Palestinian people. Instead of building an infrastructure, the Palestinians have taken any funds provided to them and bought weapons. Instead of building factories, businesses, schools or hospitals, they build rockets.

When Israel left Gaza in 2005 they left in place multi-million dollar greenhouses. What happened to them? The Palestinians destroyed them within a week. Instead of planting food to help their people, Hamas decided that since they were Israeli, they must be destroyed.

This crises, like so many others, is of their own making. Get the world crying about the poor Palestinian people. Blame Israel for the lack of food. No mention that the Palestinian people refuse to work. No mention that there would be no blockade of gas if they would only stop firing into Israel and return Gilad
Schalit. The media will point to the children and scream hunger. And no, they won't call the Palestinians what they really are:

Libya spurs UN protest with Nazi remark

Libya spurs UN protest with Nazi remark

by the Associated Press

The United States, Britain, France and other members walked out of a closed meeting of the UN Security Council late Wednesday after Libya compared the situation in Gaza to Nazi concentration camps in World War II, council diplomats said.

The walkout was a rare protest by diplomats on the UN's most powerful body against one of their own members. Libya is the only Arab representative on the council.

According to several diplomats, Libya's deputy UN Ambassador Ibrahim Dabbashi ended a long speech about the plight of the Palestinians by comparing the situation in Gaza to the concentration camps set up by Nazi Germany to exterminate Jews. Some 6 million Jews and between 220,000 and 500,000 Gypsies were killed during the Nazi Holocaust.

Immediately after Dabbashi mentioned the concentration camps, diplomats said, French Ambassador Jean-Maurice Ripert, US deputy ambassador Alejandro Wolff, Britain's deputy ambassador Karen Pierce, Belgian Ambassador Johan Verbeke and Costa Rica's deputy ambassador walked out of the council's consultation room.

I do believe this is the first time that the US, Great Britain and France walked out of a session all together. A bad move since they could have passed an number of resolutions without getting a veto from anyone. But a nice sign that maybe France and Great Britain are starting to wake up from their long multi-cultural slumber .

For the record. Gaza is nothing like a concentration camp.

This was Auschwitz. It was a Concentration Camp. 4 million people were murdered there. 3 million of them were Jews!

Auschwitz

This is Gaza. 1.4 million people live there. 4 million people weren' t murdered there.

Media Bias: What is wrong with using the word Muslim.

Funny that this story hasn't hit the news agencies. Is it because it was a murder? No, those are covered every day all over the nation. Is it because he tried to flee the nation? No, stories like that are covered too. Is it because he is a Muslim? If he was Hispanic, Black, a Neo-Nazi or the victim was gay, the media would have been all over this.

The victims in this case were Muslims. The murderer is a Muslim. The murderer tried to take refuge in a Muslim nation.

We can be grateful that the US media at least isn't like the British one and using the word Asian to mean Muslim.

From the Prophet of Doom:

Muslim Bludgeons, Strangle, Stabs, and Burns Girlfriend's family.

Father and Sister brutally murdered.
Mother beaten, burned and left unconscious outside the family's burning home.

Iftekhar Murtaza, a 22-year-old American Muslim man living in Southern California was arrested in Phoenix Airport for bludgeoning, stabbing, strangling, and burning Leela, Karishma, and Jayprakash Dhanak. These three victims were the mother, sister, and father of his girlfriend, Shayona Dhanak.

The siege against the Dhanak household begain late in the evening of May 21st. The Dhanak family home was set ablaze, and Leela Dhanak, the mother of Iftekhar Murtaza's former girlfriend, was found very badly beaten, burned, and unconscious in a yard outside the home. A few hours later, the bludgeoned, strangled, stabbed, and torched bodies of his sweetheart's sister, Karishma Dhanak, and her father, Jayprakash Dhanak, were found along a hiking trail about 20 miles from the Dhanak home. The coroners were able to get a fingerprint from the female corpse and match the teeth from the male corpse to dental records to confirm their identities. The younger sister and object of Murtaza's affections, Shayona Dhanak, was in her dorm at U.C. Irvine when Iftekhar paid a visit to the Dhanak house.

When Iftekhar Murtaza was arrested, he was waiting to board a flight to Bangladesh, a perfect country for someone like Iftekhar Murtaza. Bangladesh was carved out of India to provide a homeland for Muslims unwilling to tolerate living with Hindus, and who were also not able to get along with their fellow Muslims in Pakistan. Bangladesh serves as a perfect example of how Islam destroys a society. It has experienced a non-stop decline in its economy since its Islamization, and has one of the lowest standards of living in the world. Yet, it sits in stark contrast to the countries that surround it. India and China have achieved exponential increases in their GDP and the global investment community expects them to dominate the world's economic growth in the years to come.

Authorities had previously detained Iftekhar for questioning, but let him go after he denied ever being in Anaheim the night of the attack. His excuse for attempting to leave the country to go to Bangladesh is that he was simply going to visit relatives. The timimg of the trip and the fact that authorities have stated that Iftekhar Murtaza's cell phone was used within 2 miles of the Dhanak home 50 minutes before Murtaza's jihad is thought to have begun, show that he may be pulling a Muhammad/Allah: Bukhari:V7B67N427 "The Prophet said, ‘If I take an oath and later find something else better than that, then I do what is better and expiate my oath.'", Qur'an 9:3 "Allah and His Messenger dissolve obligations.", Qur'an 66:2 "Allah has already sanctioned for you the dissolution of your vows.", Bukhari:V4B52N268 "Allah's Apostle said, ‘War is deceit.'", Ishaq:519 "Having got Muhammad's permission, he said, ‘I must tell lies.' The Apostle said, ‘Tell them.'", Ishaq:323 "I am the best of plotters. I deceived them with My guile so that I delivered you from them.", Ishaq:442 "By Muhammad's order we beguiled them."

.Full Story

Strange that he was trying to board a flight to Bangladesh. A non-Muslim would have fled to Mexico fast. But a flight to Bangladesh, a Muslim nation, is more than just a simple running from the law. Bangladesh is an extremely poor nation and an extremely Islamic nation. There is no extradition treaty between the US and Bangladesh. Some one like Iftekhar Murtaza would fit right in, be proclaimed a hero by some Iman for defeating the Great Satan America.

China down to 12 days worth of coal

CHINA only has enough coal for 12 days of consumption, three days less than a month ago, state media reported Wednesday, sounding the alarm bells over the nation's most important source of energy.

In the period since early March, coal reserves have slumped by 12 per cent to 46.7 million tonnes, according to the commission.

Finally something the United States has plenty of that the Chinese will want. Let us jack up the price to about 10 times, then cut off the supply when the Chinese won't behave themselves.

Experts estimate that the United States has about 265 billion tons of coal reserves. If we continue to use coal at the same rate as we do today, we will have enough coal to last 285 years. This vast amount of coal makes the United States the world leader in known coal reserves.

Poor China. You were on the verge of becoming a bully to the US, but you showed your hand too soon. You had nothing and we are holding a Royal Flush!

Sorry but there are times I do have to gloat. This is one of them. For the past 10 years China has been threatening to destroy the US Economy. Now we are in the position to destroy theirs. Karma is a Bitch!

IRANIAN THREAT: Iran ballistic missile facility?

Photo analysts view many photos each day. It is their job. Sometimes they discover secrets that some nations want to keep from other nations. That was the case in October 1962 when US photo analysts found Soviet Missiles in Cuba. And it looks like it is the case today in Iran.

Do satellite photos show Iran ballistic missile facility?

A new report by The Times of London says that satellite photographs of a site in Iran indicate the location is being used to develop a ballistic missile that could reach most of continental Europe. The Times writes that the photographs show the launch site of a Kavoshgar 1 rocket that Iran tested on February 4. Tehran claimed that the rocket was intended to further a nascent Iranian space program, but The Times says that the photos suggest otherwise.

Space program? Right. Where are they going? To the Moon? They use other nations' satellites when they can.

Analysis of the photographs taken by the Digital Globe QuickBird satellite four days after the launch has revealed a number of intriguing features that indicate to experts that it is the same site where Iran is focusing its efforts on developing a ballistic missile with a range of about 6,000km (4,000 miles).

4000 miles or 6,000 km you can hit London (
2,740 miles). This puts Paris , Berlin, and Rome within their reach. A sobering thought.

If the Iranian facility is indeed developing a long-range ballistic missile, it would explain NATO's decision last week to move ahead with the missile shield program supported by the US. The Christian Science Monitor reported last week that the Bush administration scored a key success by persuading NATO to approve the missile shield, which is meant to protect against missiles like those that Iran is linked to.
NATO members all supported the US position on missile-shield defense, which is to be deployed in the Czech Republic and Poland. "There is a threat ... and allied security must be indivisible in the face of it," read the statement on missile defense.

Europe is starting to wake up to the real threat that Iran is posing on them. It was ok for Iran to threaten Israel, but when it's their own nations, that's another story.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
... said on state-run television: "We need to have an active presence in space. We witness today that Iran has taken its first step in space very firmly, precisely and with awareness." When ever this man speaks, why is it I feel like I want to wash out his mouth with soap for lying? So what does this mean for missile proliferators in general and Syria and Iran (and North Korea since they are all involved in the development of these missiles) in particular? It means that they are still having a hard time producing graphite tough and pure enough to be used in large missiles. It also indicates that a top priority for their missile engineers will be to develop other thrust vector control mechanisms. Just add nuclear weapons and you will have a recipe for disaster. Make no mistakes about Iranian intentions. They are developing nuclear weapons and rockets that now threaten Israel, the whole Middle East and Europe. How much longer will it be before they have a missile that could attack the US?

Happy Earth Day?

Today is Earth Day. The day we are suppose to remember the planet we live on and help clean it up. Earth Day is a made-up holiday started by some Hippies back in the 1970's as the birthday of the environmental movement.

I don't celebrate Earth Day. I don't need a day to celebrate the world. I celebrate Arbor Day. It is the United States' original Earth Day. Arbor Day this year is April 25.

What is Arbor Day you ask? I'll be glad to tell you.

The History of Arbor DayThe idea for Arbor Day originally came from Nebraska. A visit to Nebraska today wouldn't disclose that the state was once a treeless plain. Yet it was the lack of trees there that led to the founding of Arbor Day in the 1800s.

Among pioneers moving into the Nebraska Territory in 1854 was J. Sterling Morton from Detroit. He and his wife were lovers of nature, and the home they established in Nebraska was quickly planted with trees, shrubs and flowers.N

On January 4, 1872, Morton first proposed a tree-planting holiday to be called “Arbor Day” at a meeting of the State Board of Agriculture. The date was set for April 10, 1872. Prizes were offered to counties and individuals for planting properly the largest number of trees on that day. It was estimated that more than one million trees were planted in Nebraska on the first Arbor Day.

Arbor Day is celebrated all over the world. What started in Nebraska in 1872 is celebrated by the following countries:
Australia, Brazil, Barbados, Bulgaria, Canada, China, The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianna Islands, Germany, Guam, Holland, Iceland, India, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Malta, Mexico, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, St. Maarten, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Togo, Tunisia, United Kingdom.

As a child my school in Brooklyn planted a tree each year. We had an assembly, special presentations about trees and the planet, and a special ceremony to plant the tree. Without the hoopla and commercialism of Earth Day. I still remember those occasions with joy and a few tears. Today's children won't have such fond memories. They will be lectured to on how they are destroying the planet. How they have to sacrifice their lifestyle to Save the Earth. A pity. A simple tree planting ceremony has more power than any lecturer could.

I ask you. On April 25 won't you plant a tree? Keep an American Tradition alive. A tree makes your property look good, brings up your property's value, helps to clean the air, and yes, it is huggable.

Muslim Leaders Want Mecca to Be Center of World Time Zones

From Fox News:

The Islamiczation of the world has begun. There is nothing wrong with Greenwich Mean Time. Mecca is not the center of the world. This planet has no center.

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) could be replaced by "Mecca Time," if a group of Muslim leaders get their way.

At the conference, "Mecca, the Center of the Earth, Theory and Practice," Muslim scientists and clerics called for the change, arguing that the holy city in Saudi Arabia is the center of the Earth and should be the reference point for world time, not Greenwich, England, the British Broadcasting Corp. reports.

One geologist at the Qatar conference said Mecca's longitude is perfectly aligned with magnetic north and should therefore replace the English city, which has been measuring time zones since 1884, the BBC reports.

Attendees of the conference also reviewed the "Mecca Watch," an invention by a French Muslim which reportedly rotates counter-clockwise and displays Mecca's direction from any point in the world, the BBC said.

The conference is part of a trend called “Ijaz al-Koran" or "miraculous nature of the holy text," which tries to find precedents for modern science from passages in the Koran, the BBC reports.

But its critics say Ijaz al-Koran confuses spiritual truth — which depends on constant faith — with empirical truth, which depends on ever-changing science, the BBC said.

It is in my humble opinion that this is only the first step. What next? Forcing us to adhere to Shar'ai law in all nations?
